Vitamin E prevents Coronary Heart Diseases Back  Home

The latest issue of Clinical Chemistry ahs revealed that vitamin E is very much effective in inhibiting arteriosclerosis one of the appalling heart disease at these day and age. Recent studies aha s shown that Vitamin E  can efficiently prevents the coronary heart diseases also known as CHD very efficiently as experimented on 62 coronary atherosclerotic individuals each aged around  65.

Research has exposed that blood vessels of vitamin homogenize for cholesterol and lipid concentrations were considerably retards in the coronary patients than in keeping  under control i.e.4.35 vs. 4.82 mmol/mol for cholesterol attuned vitamin E and  2.35 vs. 2.66 for lipid-adjusted vitamin E, correspondingly. Similarly, in the low-density lipoprotein  or LDL part,  merely  Cholesterol-normalized vitamin E  was significantly lower in coronary patients than controls viz.3.84 vs. 4.41.

However, the association between the vitamin E and Cholesterol Coronary Diseases was unaffected  regardless of of age, sex, smoking habit, hypertension and diabetes. An in the patients with  Cholesterol Coronary Heart Diseases a lower  lipid-adjusted vitamin E was associated with enhanced Low -Density Lipoprotein, a lipid-adjusted vitamin E was correlated  to enhanced Low -Density Lipoprotein or LDL leaning to oxidation. Thus its clear that vitamin E plays  vital role in preventing arteriosclerosis.
