We are in the 22nd Century, we have developed science and technology to
challenges and difficulties in life. Yet, there are many people found who are
who are very superstitious and credulous that they trust still the absurd
phenomenon believing disease and disorders as the curse of supernatural power
on the victim. Myths about health are very common India among the tribes and
rural folks who are ignorant of the modern medical remedies for treatment of
many lethal disease which they thought incurable.
It is a common occurrence in any of the untutored rural Indian community
that the a chicken pox patient is never taken to hospital or treated through
any kind of modern therapy to be healed. Its because the people believe that
its a curse on the victim for his sin who is punished by their deity. They
think that no remedy will cure the patient rather he/she will recover only by
the grace of their deity.
Even as if epidemic or fatal disease the people don't take the medical help
but the take the patients to the enchanter thinking it as black magic
harnessed by some evil doer. They offer worship, animal sacrifice, and wine to
their divine being to cure the patients.
